Going Green
Encourage students to take care of the environment by adapting the way they live and do things--beginning in the classroom! Students learn key vocabulary words to help them better understand and discuss concepts. Then they can absorb the information, think critically about the content, and discuss the material using authentic language. Scaffolded activities provide all students with opportunities to demonstrate what they are learning in a variety of ways including graphic representations, writing, and art.
